By using this website or submitting a quote request, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or submit a request.

What CanopyQuote Co. Is — a Matching Service, Not a Contractor

CanopyQuote Co. is a matching and referral service. We connect homeowners in the Des Moines, Iowa area with independent local tree service companies. We are not a tree service contractor. We do not perform tree removal, stump grinding, trimming, or any other tree work, and we do not employ the companies we match requests with.

How the Service Works

  • You submit a quote request describing the work you need.
  • We share that request with one local tree service company.
  • That company may contact you directly to discuss the job and provide a quote.
  • Any agreement for work is made solely between you and that company. We are not a party to it.

Requesting a quote is free for homeowners and creates no obligation for you to hire the company that contacts you.

Independence of Service Providers

Tree service companies matched through this site are independent businesses. They are solely responsible for their own quotes, scheduling, work, safety practices, licensing and insurance obligations, and any warranties they offer. CanopyQuote Co. does not supervise, direct, or guarantee the work of any provider, and does not endorse any particular company.

Estimates Disclaimer

Any cost ranges or prices shown on this website — including on our cost guide page — are general estimates provided for planning purposes only. They are not quotes, bids, or price guarantees. Actual prices are set by the tree service company after it evaluates your specific job, and may fall outside any range shown here.

No Guarantees About Responses or Availability

We do not guarantee that a provider will contact you within any particular time, that a provider will be available or able to perform your job, or that you will receive a quote. Response times and availability vary by company.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate information in your quote request, including a phone number and service address you are authorized to use.
  • Use the site only for genuine requests for services at property you own or are authorized to manage.
  • Evaluate any provider you hire — including confirming their licensing, insurance, and terms — as you would with any contractor you found on your own.

Communications

By submitting a request with the consent box checked, you agree that we may share your request with one local tree service company and that the company may call or text you about your request at the number provided, including by automated means. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CanopyQuote Co. is not liable for the acts, omissions, work, pricing, or warranties of any tree service company, or for any damages arising from work performed (or not performed) by a provider. Our role is limited to passing your request to one provider. In all cases, our total liability arising from your use of this website is limited to the amount you paid us for the service — which, for homeowners, is zero.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CanopyQuote Co. from claims arising out of your misuse of this website or your violation of these Terms.

The content on this website belongs to CanopyQuote Co. or its licensors and may not be copied or reused without permission, except for personal, non-commercial viewing.
